How to deal with disappointments

We all plan our lives and almost schedule everything that we want to achieve but it always never works out according to planned. As human beings, we spend our lives strategizing to a point where we never stop to think what if all that we plan ends up in vain. It is a wonderful thing to plan in fact one should have a clear vision of where they want to be but I must say disappointment is something that we all deal with and it is inevitable. Everyone reacts differently to disappointments therefore some get depressed, lose confidence, lose faith, get angry with God ,give up but surprisingly for some people disappointment brings the best out of them. I am one of those people that when i get disappointed, I get hurt just like everyone else but along the years i feel like during that moment is when i tend to rise up the most. I am here to tell you that just because one door closes it does not mean that other doors will not open. The reason why i am saying this is that we often get caught up or rather get comfortable in the situations that we find good enough for us yet they are actually toxic and once there is a slight change, we start to panic which means we are not always ready to let go of what is not meant to be ours and also let what is ours in. Disappointment can tear you apart and makes you lose hope oh yes and this is a fact but you should never lose hope just because something did not go your way. It simply means that whatever it is you were trying to do or you were involved in was not meant to be i mean it is like being married or being in a relationship with someone for a long time but then suddenly it ends. I believe that some disappointments happen for a reason and sometimes God is trying to tell us something through them so you have to be careful at how you respond. Just know and always remember that whatever you lose that brought pain and agony in your life, it certainly was not from God. Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
