Do not get comfortable in your season

Most times when God has blessed us so much , we find it difficult to acknowledge that it is really by his grace that we are where we are but we would rather think that it is our strength or hard work that has gotten us where we are. Actually you can work so hard your entire life or you can be the best educated person , but if God’s grace is not upon your life, then it’s like having a foundation without God and expect it to last. Listen do not ever think that you are too big or small for God to handle therefore whichever position God places you in life, be faithful because you just never know what God has in store for you. A good example in the bible is a man called Job and in the book of Job chapter one, we learn that he was a very rich man in fact the richest in his area who loved God with all his heart .The other interesting thing about him was that he felt responsible for his children’s sins so as a result , he would always offer burnt offerings on their behalf to God just in case they sinned against God in their hearts. He was a very rich man but above all  he was also so much favored by God to the point that Satan knew this. This is where i will say that  if you are a servant of God, do not get out of God’s cover. As the story goes on, God decides to put him to the test in partnership with Satan and it’s interesting to know in this story that Satan was very aware or certain that Job was serving God because he had given him all that he needed including protection and so he knew that if God took it all  away, the tables might turn. Be aware that God can decide to let the enemy come into your camp not to destroy you but shake your faith to show you that he is God and that without him, you are nothing.  When all the bad things were happening to Job, the bible says that in all that , Job did not not sin by blaming God and he also acknowledged that it is God who gives and takes away. Do not choose to be comfortable in the things of God and his blessings, stop thinking that you can do things in your own strength, stop thinking that you do not need God because you can have everything but miss God, stop thinking that you are too big for God to bring you down and always know that where you are today might not be where you will be tomorrow. God is a God of seasons and do not be quick to judge what other peoples’ seasons are because you do not know what God is teaching them through those seasons.  This might surprise you but God takes us through difficult seasons so that we have no choice but to turn to him and this results into drawing us closer to himself  because at the end of the day he is after our hearts .Daniel 2:21 says It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding.
